First-person shooter set in the near future

IRONSIGHT is a free-to-play action game for PC developed by WipleGames Inc. It's an online first-person shooter set in a world wherein there is a global war for resources. Players can choose between two factions and fight with a variety of weapons and military tech.

Similar to Destiny 2 or Halo Infinite, IRONSIGHT will have players wage war in various locations with unique conditions and scenarios. They will need to survey the battlefield and devise strategies for their squad. This helps them gain a tactical advantage during enemy encounters and to achieve their mission objectives.

War for resources

IRONSIGHT is set in a world where there is an ongoing war for natural resources. Battles are being fought between Military Armed Forces and Private Military Corporations. Choose a side, arm yourself, and engage in intense firefights all over the world. Each location features unique battle conditions, and it's up to you to take them into consideration as you come up with tactics for your team.

There are more than 50 weapons available in the game, each one based on real-life models that have been reimagined with more advanced tech in mind and come with various customization options. When on the ground, you will have access to vehicles and infrastructures to help you get around and reach specific points of interest and mission objectives. They will also play a role in gaining a tactical advantage.

In addition to your varied arsenal of weapons, you can also utilize drones that provide air support. With them, you can scout possible enemies, provide intel on a specific area, and even rain down suppression fire to keep the other side occupied. Some things to be aware of are the decline in active players lately and the increased influx of reports for cheaters in-game.

Sights off

IRONSIGHT had plenty of good things going for it. The combat was solid, you had tons of weapons at your disposal, and there is variety and depth to the gameplay. However, the decline in active players and the presence of cheaters are causes for concern given it's an MMO shooter. You would be better off looking elsewhere to get your FPS fix.
